Amaranth wood necklace with silver plated chain. 

Amaranth is an exotic species prized for its exceptional natural violet colour that only fully reveals itself after one or two days of exposure to light.  Some religions believe that the wood of this tree has spiritual qualities, both to enhance knowledge and creative energy and to contribute to healing. Many use the wood in their homes to eliminate negative energy, tension, anger and worry.

The Selva collection, with its geometric shapes, is inspired by goldsmithing. The precious wood, its fineness and its natural colours stand out. This jewellery is eco-responsible, a product of the upcycling process: with the aim of saving rare wood species and giving new life to leftover wood that cannot be used in other products, a unique piece of jewellery is designed and manufactured by hand, reminding us of the magic of trees as generators of life on the planet.

Features you should know:

This pendant is entirely made of wood, made from leftovers of different species of trees. It measures approximately 5 cm. It was made by Antoine and Clémence in their workshop in Fougères, Brittany, France.  The chain that holds it is 60 cm long and silver-plated. 

These jewels are made in small batches, so the wood grain may vary slightly from the photo.

It is recommended to clean with soft cloth.

This item is handmade and requires delicacy: it is advisable to take it off to sleep.
