This necklace is made from a high quality labradorite stone, cut to reveal its beauty and the unique optical phenomenon that characterises it: the bright colours appear and disappear depending on the angle from which the stone is viewed, creating a unique visual spectacle.

Labradorite is considered a stone of transformation and protection, known for its calming properties. It is believed to help relieve anxiety, strengthen intuition and foster clairvoyance, acting as an energetic shield that protects against negative energies and disharmony. It is the stone of self-awareness and connection with our higher self, making it ideal to accompany meditations.

This necklace is handcrafted in France, in the GinandGer workshop in Paris.

The name Subhagya originates from the Sanskrit language. In Sanskrit, the word ‘Subhagya’ is a combination of two words: ‘Subha’, meaning auspicious or fortunate, and ‘Agya’, meaning knowledge or wisdom. Subhagya can therefore be interpreted as ‘one who possesses good fortune or auspicious knowledge’.

Features you should know:

Stainless steel necklace mounted with a silver plated labradorite measuring approximately 1.5cm.  The chain measures 40 cm (+ 5cm). Labradorite has different reflections from one stone to another, ranging from blue, green, yellow and grey-violet. This is a phenomenon of iridescence, resulting from the diffraction of light in the layers of the stone. The ‘striations’ often seen in the stone allow the light to reflect more effectively. A singular stone, each one is unique.

Care instructions:

Avoid immersing your necklace in water so that the stones retain their good looks for as long as possible. When not wearing it, keep it in its pouch, which protects it from light and humidity. To keep your jewellery sparkling, you can clean it with a soft cloth.

To prevent the chain from discolouration, wipe it regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth. If necessary, you can supplement your cleaning according to the material in question:

- for steel : polish with a clean cloth and a little natural soap or with a lemon dipped in salt.

- for 925 silver : clean with a small brush and lemon juice, vinegar or toothpaste.

- for gold plated : brush gently with soapy water or soak in water and baking soda.

Always dry well with a clean, dry cloth.

This object was handmade and requires delicacy: it is advisable to take it off to sleep.
